To Whom It May Concern,
It has come to my attention that while this guild is organized with a militaristic structure rank and file system there has thus far, to my knowledge, not been any formal documentation of military tactics or the like. I believe due to this guilds relative small size, no offense, and our limited number of higher ranking officers and elite soldiers it would be best for us as a whole to employ guerilla tactics. Hit and Run would be preferable with multiple attack and entry points to disorient and confuse our enemies with a central meeting at which our forces will mass pushing outward towards our goal or most desired target, this should prove most effective as it will keep the enemies superior numbers from becoming to much of an issue. However if we could enlist aid from other such guilds with elite combatants like our good Captain I would like to propose a few other tactile measures if I may.
If we were able to say amass a force of 5 highly trained combatants I believe very successful raids could be launched on the following sites. Southshore and Hillsbrad are both quite venerable to us by ourselves as they are small, can be abandoned quickly and we can bring in reinforcements easily enough and quick enough from Tarren Mill to be most effective. Easily enough Ambermill and Pyrewood village could be assaulted in the same manner with Tarren Mill being replaced by the Sepulcher or even the Undercity for those of us with mounts.
What I would propose in a raid would be to have our good Rogue Midievil go in first and eliminate any potential trouble makers as quickly and quietly as possible. Meanwhile our good Paladin could cast blessings upon us all to further increase our lethality while our two Warlocks and their pets could simply run amuck and cause general havoc and chaos as they are wont to do. Of course this isn’t tactful at all but a sufficient plan to assault any of the aforementioned areas.
If I could have any number of races and classes available to me this is how I would do things. Warriors and Paladins would be our front line as well as Hunter Pets, Warlocks and Mages would be our hard hitting spell casters with the Warlocks holding their pets in check to deal with anyone that should break our central line or try and assault the casters. At least three Rogues would be implemented one to weave in and out of the front lines appearing to eviscerate a target of opportunity or a meddlesome foe and then to slip back quietly into the shadows from whence he struck. The other two Rogues meanwhile would hold the flanks making sure no enemy Rogues flank our position or anyone trying to circumvent us would surely fail.
Hunters would hang back with the casters shooting their bows at enemies along the front line and engaging in Melee combat with anyone lucky enough to get to the casters. The Priests would be positioned behind the offensive casters just within range of their healing spells for the frontline. No less than 2 Shamans and 2 Druids would be implemented in this strategy 1 Shaman and Druid to stay behind with the casters to help Fortify the frontlines with their spells and Totems, and to further defend the casters if necessary, and the other 2 would rush forward and bolster the frontlines healing and fighting as they deem necessary. That is how I would do things and I encourage you all to add your tactics to this parchment as well so that our prowess and conquest may grow.
